Junk journal, stash book....

Hi peeps!  I know, I keep meaning to get back to blogging but I keep getting sidetracked!  Anyway!  I am just so enthralled with journaling, or making journals lately, and seeing how everyone else does it.  I saw a video on You Tube on how to turn a comp book into a junk journal and this is mine:

On the inside of the front cover I have an old map of the Colorado Springs area, God I miss Colorado!  And of a cowboy, I think I should have been a cowgirl...  is it too late to change that?  LOL!   I also some business cards, a scratch off piece from Artchix and some pathetic cracker jack prizes!  Don't even get me started on that!!!  And then of course I have a clip to hold stuff that still need to be glued in.  This is lots of fun and I keep it handy for when I'm cleaning my desk off!  On the next one I will not ink up the pages though, it makes it hard to write over, of course that might be a good thing...  In about 50 years someone will look through this and see all kinds of old ephemera!  I would love to find one of these from the 50s or 60s!!!  That would be awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Your journal is terrific! When I was little, Annie Oakley was my hero. When I was in kindergarden, we brought our favorite Christmas present to school. Mine was two 6 shooters with caps and holsters, and my cowgirl hat. The teacher took pictures of us, but put me with the boys because all the girls had dolls. :>(
